Creative Brief

We have 3 weeks to develop a 10 minute video to promote the Hume Passport for Work program (PFW).

We are trying to advertise this product at the governmental conference in Sydney to anybody interested in being involved (sponsors, mentors etc). Potential protégés will also have the opportunity to view the video on the internet and through other mediums. The video may include a presenter, interviews, voiceovers, establishing shots, cutaways, and anything else in our capabilities.

Preminilary Verbal Brief

Passport For Work

It will be a 10 minute video production video about a program for unemployed Hume residents looking for a pathway into a career.

PFW is a program that brings a member of the Hume community (protégé) into the supervision and guidance of a local corporate professional (mentor). The program itself is about helping people of the community with employment and developing life skills used in the workforce. PFW will provide people with multiple options and opportunities to accelerate towards a career or pathway.

. The video will show in action the process of the program as well as the outcomes it has on the protégé.

. The video may be up on websites as well as a DVD and should have formats of the video set accordingly.

. The audience will consist of Hume council members as well as other government officials. The video will be aimed towards unemployed Hume residents and others looking for career options and opportunities.

. Access to Hume locations will be authorised by signing off a release through Hume.

. Actors for the video will either come from Kangan Institute or the Hume council. If a member of the Hume council wishes to be in the video they will have to sign a release produced by Kangan Institute.

. Hume council can provide photos but any other footage will be provided by Kangan Institute.

. More information on PFW can be viewed at
